Winter colours in Glenbower Wood..This particular beech tree sits on the edge of where the old lake once was in Glenbower Wood. The lake dam was deliberately breeched in 1988. Just had a message from Killeagh scouts. They were about 100 metres up from the fairy doors the path right by the river and they got completely swarmed by angry wasps. Just to warn everyone else do not go on this path go on the higher path instead.
