Killeagh looking East	Killeagh is a quiet agricultural village situated between Midleton and Youghal, on the main tourist route N25 from Rosslare and has a large passing trade of tourist related traffic. It is easily served by both Cork Airport and the Ringaskiddy ferryport both being approximately 30mls away, and is in close proximity to such noted angling places as Youghal, Garryvoe, Ballycotton, Cobh and Fermoy.
Access to the Wood is via the road alondside the thatched pub at the eastern end of the village. This road leads directly into the wood. Vehicles may be parked at the entrance gate area or up at the upper car park, where the footpaths begin.
